In its pursuit to nurture homegrown talent and support the local performing arts industry, the Original Pilipino Performing Arts (OPPA) Foundation is proud to announce its new batch of scholars for the 2018-2019 school year:

They are:

  • Jaike Bernice Ramos, AB Theater Arts, MINT College;
  • Lorrie Ann Figueroa, AB Theater Arts, MINT College;
  • Roland Vincent Saavedra, BM Piano, St. Paul University;
  • Fernando Sychangco III, BM Music Education, St. Paul University;
  • Nerissa De Juan, BM Voice Performance, University of Santo Tomas; and
  • Andrea Manuel, BMP Voice, St. Scholastica’s College

OPPA celebrates the potential of these young artists who excel and make a mark in Philippine performing arts. It is but fitting that we congratulate these talented individuals who have exhibited the passion to perform and cultivate their respective skills.

More importantly, we are confident that these individuals will soon be the stars of their generation of Filipino performance artists.
